6-13-1997

I'm a time travel nut, the idea simply fascinates me to no end. Luckily for me and millions others, Art was a time travel geek too. Here's open lines from 1997, where Art talks to time travelers.

8-14-1995 - Smokers Rights

This show is a classic "only in the 90's" show. President Clinton had, I believe, started the process of nationwide taxing and sanctioning of cigarette companies.

Art had a FIELD day. Remember that movie "Thank You For Smoking?"

Art could have played that lead role.

9-11-97 - Infamous A51 Show

Nothing more needs to be said. This is THE show that turned a good portion of Art Bell fans on to him. Still seriously can't believe the date is 9-11 on this fucking thing. The show is simply epic.

11-27-02 - Moon Hoax

Art and Marcus Allen chronicling how man COULD NOT have landed on the moon, at least in '69...

7-16-96 - Vampires

This show was a breath of fresh air. It was a "Vampire open lines"  show, and when i was a teenager this was the sort of shit i lived for. After listening to this show, re: the vampire aspect, it seems so relevant. Vampires using the internet to lure their prey does not seem crazy at all actually (if those fuckers really existed)

9-2-1994 - John Lear

John Lear is always a great guest. Nowadays hes a bit loopy, enjoying his old age giving zero fucks about anything, but this was Lear in his talk radio prime - alert, concise, yet dry and sarcastic as shit.

5-4-94 - 90's Info Superhighway - AR Ban

Awesome show with Brain Hammerstein talking about "up to date" computer systems of 1994 and beyond (watch out for those Mac Power PC's! Raw animals of power!) which, in today's day and date is quite funny for those of us who were around back then, to see how painfully slow the net was back then.

Then a fascinating discussion on the assault weapons ban, and this was Art in 1994, so I bet you can tell where he landed on the issue. To hear these calls in retrospect is a great time capsule.

OK so yeah, 4 year break...

Sometimes life can kick your ass. Got engaged, got a whole new attitude. Seems like I've lived 3 lifetimes. Updating ASAP
